Eliot is going on a loss, his first loss, and to make it a bit more fun I've opted to expand it into a rather large group loss. It's mod approved and I hope that it's a bit of fun for anyone that wants to play along.

I'm looking for about 11 other castle residents to pick up roles and then a lot of others to just be "victims" of the antics that happen.

What's the loss?

Here it is! )

Ryuu and I had planned on doing these together, but with her schedule, and mine and everything else I didn't want you guys waiting for these longer than needed. I quick did up both of them myself.

If Ryuu is online, feel free to ping her and ask her if she'd like to add anything from Hardison's POV.

Awkward was putting it mildly, but Eliot understood that there wasn't anyway 'in Hell' they were getting Hardison to pull it off. His hair was the right length, he had the build, and Soph had convinced him that his taciturn way of speaking was some sort of turn on. Exhaling sharply he shook his head, running his hands over his hair as he eyed his reflection.

"Housewives," he muttered under his breath.

The hands that rested to his shoulders, tugged lightly at the fabric there. Pulling it taut to his back, before smoothing out the sleeve a bit. Lifting an eyebrow he glanced at Sophie standing behind him, her reflection in the mirror clearly showing the level of care she was taking at making sure this was perfectly executed.

"I do say, you do look the part."

"I look ridiculous. Who the hell wears this stuff anyway?" Eliot eyed her, his fingers flicking at the front of the shirt, open to the middle of his chest. "It's a pirate costume."

"It's an illusion of fantasy Eliot, and you look fine. Stop being so modest."

Her fingers continued to run along the fabric, circling him, like a shark, as she made her way to finish her final inspection. His hair was still pulled back, tight at the nape of his neck, a few strands loose since they hadn't grown out all the way yet. The two braids tucked in, beneath the rest of his hair, and there wasn't any way around it, they were staying. Her final round of inspection hovered at his back, until her fingers tucked into the hair tie, tugging it down the length of his hair, and letting the rest of it fall loose.

Instinctively, his hand ran through it, trying to untangle the small pieces that overlapped in the band, but his fingers met with Sophie's toward the back, and halting his motion he quickly let his hand retreat, resting it to his side. It formed a tight fist, channeling whatever odd feelings he was trying to bottle away up into a smaller compact, easy to manage, size. It bounced nervously against his side, but after a few moments of Sophie fixing his hair, his hand relaxed at his side, his weight shifting a bit in front of the mirror.

"You're not nervous are you?" Sophie clicked her tongue lightly, as she smiled at him, "It's just a little distraction. You've done this before you know, the IT guy was quite different but still the same role. Just be yourself, you'll pull her eyes away from us and it'll be fine."

"It's not the same role, and it's not a gentle touch to her mousing hand Soph, this is an attempt at seducing this woman, and I just don't feel right leading her on."

Sophie laughed, it wasn't meant to be mean, and really she was just amused at the honor of him trying to maintain that sort of air about himself, doing what he does. Smirking he eyed her in the mirror, "What's so funny."

"Eliot, you could lead on a woman with a smile."

"A smile?" It was mostly him teasing, but he took her words to heart, turning around to face her, "How 'bout now, am I leading you on?" The tone his words took, didn't have any real questioning behind them. His voice had a natural seduction to it, the curve of his drawl always hooking the lines in, but there was more than just that and Sophie knew it. The flush that rose to her skin was slight, but it was there and he just smiled.

"You look the part, Eliot. You'll walk past her and she'll swear you stepped out of the pages of her dog-eared copy of The Mayan Cad's Supine Captive."

It was a moment of deflection, even Eliot could pick up on that. Turning the focus back to the job, rather than onto him. His hand swept up against her cheek, tucking behind her ear lightly. A single caress of his thumb to the apple of cheek was there so light, she hadn't even realized she was leaning into it. Stepping closer to her, Eliot closed that distance, feeling Sophie's hand press lightly to his chest.

The openness of his shirt, now something he was actually grateful for, allowed her delicate touch to simply rest to his skin, a cooler feeling against the warmth of him. His gaze rose along her features, leading with is nose, hovering closer to her face. Close enough now that he could hear the slight stutter of her breathing, the inward gasp of anticipation that was making his own smile curve up slightly in the corners of his mouth.

There had always been a slight tension in the air. He had been the last to forgive her for betraying them, and he'd always wondered if she understood how much he had taken that act to heart. Hovering near her mouth he hesitated, wondering if this was the right move, if this had ever been the right move. Complicated wasn't even the first thing to come to mind when thinking about it, Nate had been. Nate was always dropping the ball, taking things too quick or too damn slow, and maybe that was why he was standing a mere inch away from the brunette wondering 'What if...?' and hoping she wasn't going to back away.

It took a single auditory cue for him to lean in and claim her mouth, a soft sigh from her, and she hadn't moved from him. His kiss was slow, nearing gentle as he brushed his thumb against her check, resting his fingertips lightly behind her ear, tilting her head slightly as he deepened the kiss. Her hand, once hovering on the precipice of his shirt, now slipped against skin, tucking beneath the loose fabric, finding contours and planes of muscle that he had seen her noticing earlier in the month.

His footing moved only slightly, framing her in her heels, as his hand lowered on her back, easing to rest just at the top of her skirt. A single touch guided her against him, as their kiss continued.

"Aw... Hell no! Man, I swear I did not just see that!"

Hardison was in the room, and out of it as quickly as he could make that proclamation. Eliot could feel Sophie's eyelashes flutter against his skin as she pulled away, clearly embarrassed for being caught with her guard down. As she stepped back from him, he watched her. The way she pressed her hands against the front of her blouse, the quick glance to him as her fingers made their way to rest gently at her lips. Her eyes met his as she let them drop to her skirt, tugging at the bottom of it, before exhaling to regain her focus.

He simply nodded, knowing that whatever just happened would probably never happen again. It was the nature of the game, and for the both of them, they were just too good at playing it.

"Hardison you're nuts. They're just standing there," Parker shouted over her shoulder to Hardison, who's exclamations could still be heard through the hallway. "Come on, before Hardison starts making up more wild stories just to get you two in the van."

Parker turned and exited the room, laughing slightly at something probably only funny in her own head as Eliot moved to walk out of the room. His hand went to rest to the small of Sophie's back, a gesture he'd made a hundred times before. However, her steps quickened, leaving him with only the brush of silk beneath his fingertips before she was gone.

"I'm not walking under that fan, Parker!" Eliot shouted, trying to pull himself back into the job. Romance novel cover guy was one thing, but a fan... that was drawing a line too far.

Eliot wasn't exactly fond of the whole ghost thing yet. They had been helpful when it came to helping him cook for that benefit, but that was him watching them every step of the way. If he was going to watch them do his laundry, he figured he might as well do it himself. The small bag was just a few pairs of jeans and shirts, along with a few pairs of boxer briefs. The essentials.

Though entering the laundry room he had to pause for a moment, his line of sight casting on the curve of a woman bent enough to reach into the bottom of the washer. A strong arm, gripped to the edge of the washer, shoulder bare with the perfect shade of blue to contrast her skin tone in the tank top she was wearing. His eyes cast down the length of legs, crossed just slight enough to let a bare foot overlap to the other showing below the cuff of the dark jeans she was wearing. Scratching his chin he watched for a moment as the brunette's hair fell a bit further off her shoulder as she pulled a few more things out of the washer and moved them fluidly into the dryer. He was staring, he was well aware of that and he was mostly trying to time it out to see how much longer he could stare.

When she stood up straight and tucked her hair behind her ear he had to turn his gaze away, it was Bela. He thought he'd memorized pretty much most of her figure, but for some reason the sight of her in the tank top, jeans and bare feet -- nearly blanked out his prior recollection of her. He turned away glancing to behind him as she turned and smiled at him.

"Bela, sorry -- I didn't expect anyone in here."

"Castle full of just shy of four hundred people, and you expected a room to be empty?"

The playful arch of her eyebrow struck a smirk from him as he shook his head, "Well no, I didn't expect to run into you I suppose."

"Ah, trying honesty I see."

"Well for now at least," Eliot admitted as she moved away from the washer. "You done with this?"

She glanced to him for a moment before nodding, "It's all yours."

Eliot smiled in return, and set the bag of his own dirty laundry down to the floor before glancing into the washer. A piece of black fabric was stuck up toward the front of the washer, and at first glance Eliot assumed it was a sock, but when he pried it free the shape came unfolded and Eliot nearly dropped it. Coughing to clear his throat he glanced toward Bela, "I think this is yours."

He didn't hold it up, instead he moved his hand with some decorum to simply slip it into her hands. Bela however opted to muse over it for a moment, holding the pair of black panties up for a moment. Eliot watched her, mostly, with a look of curiosity. He could figure out most women within a few minutes of meeting them. He might be wrong some of the time, but he at least had a general idea of what made them tick. There was still something about Bela that made him wonder why he couldn't figure her out yet. Raising an eyebrow he questioned her, "Not yours?"

"Oh, no, they are mine." Her smirk... it was dangerous and Eliot was quickly at least learning that. "I was just seeing what you reaction to them was. Though you were watching me, not them."

Eliot chuckled, "Well, that's true. Though if we're trying honesty here, at the moment they're just fabric. They don't really make me react until they're either on a woman, or about to come off."

The way she pursed her lips, wasn't anything that gave him the thought that she was thinking she was above him, it was -- something else -- another thing he hadn't figured out about her yet. Eliot turned away and started to toss his own clothing into the washer, now that it was empty. Once the bag was empty he tossed that in as well, knowing he'd be bringing his clean clothes back to his room in it. Soap went in, and the dial was turned and pulled to start the wash. Leaning back against the table he regarded her again, the once out in the open panties now tossed into the dryer with the rest of her clothing.

Folding his arms he smiled at her, "So you do your laundry all the time?"

"Every Friday evening."

"I'll remember that, for next time," Eliot replied smirking at her, knowing that he'd be doing his laundry on Friday nights from now on.

Basic Overview: Castle residents believe they are from a different canon for 10 days.

OOCly players will have to sort out who's going and who's staying from their own canon. Then find people to add into their canon. They will also need to determine if they want to play along with new people that have been "adopted" into their world or if they want to stick by the, "Ugh, the castle messed with you again." standards.

Castle Wide or Specific Character Plot: Castle-Wide Opt-In
Scheduled Start Date: No sooner than May
Scheduled End Date: 10 Days After it Starts
Other Information:

Good morning! Last night you went to bed, curled up and warm, wishing you could understand just a bit more about that friend you've made here. They tell these stories about a world you've never been to, never been able to see, and you know that they have had a rough experience back home, but you can only say, "That must've been difficult" so many times. If only there was a way for you to understand, for you to know what it was like for them back home. You'll never go there though and even if they are from the same world as you - you'll never have recalled meeting them here.

It's a shame.

Well, it was - until you woke up this morning. In fact this morning you know exactly how it was back home for your friend. You were there, right by their side for all of it. Things aren't so bad since they're here with you.

Though, not everyone seems to remember the same things as you two do. In fact, some people seem to think that the castle has altered your memories. Pffft, what do they know? It must be a temporary loss, one of those 'Memory' things that has affected them.

After a week, the original memories start to pop up. It's at random times - not so much replacing the false memories, but showing a more real experience to those affected.

The final two days the castle starts to let those false memories slip into a part of their memory reserved for dreams and fantasy. Allowing the memories to stay behind, but be no more real than a vivid dream. The shared experience between the two friends though can be interpreted to have been an amazing moment to really feel as if they understand, or it could be twisted to be another time when the castle pulls the rug out from under them.

Example of the Plot In Action:

Bugs Bunny wakes up one morning to believe, completely and whole-heartedly that he's been living in Toon Town with Mickey Mouse. The two of them are best friends, in fact Bugs was the one that introduced him to Minnie Mouse.

Mickey thinks this is totally normal. He asks his BFF Bugs to lunch and the two of them chat about the old days. When that silly Pluto chased him around the yard and when Goofy bought that old jalopy.

Donald is completely confused. He's never met Bugs before coming to the castle. In fact he tries to convince Mickey of that, but is dismissed since Mickey swears Donald and Bugs were in a bowling league called: "We Wear No Pants".

More Notes:

I know this has the potential to get a bit complicated. That's why OOC planning is a huge deal. It'd probably end up being in a few posts. Plus, this would be a good time to have a "Pimp Your Fandom" Meme in YuuYuuPandaLand. Maybe even with an OOC post that hints at the upcoming plot. Something like, "In May (June/whatever month) if you've got a fandom you're familiar with and would love to play with the cast of that world here in the castle in a new way, start thinking about those fandoms a bit more."

The initial plot announcement will be the Q&A part. This is just to make sure everyone understands what is going to happen, their options as far as playing along or ignoring it.

The first planning post one will be a general - "Here's my characters, I'd like to put these people into new fandoms, here are ones I'd like to try." Suggestions can be made, loose plans set into minds.

The second planning post will be set up like the comments below. It'll be more organized, more streamlined for the fandoms in the castle in order to keep things straight. This way people can see who they need to know, talk to, etc to plan out their new histories with.

A week after the second planning post there will be the final post where everyone can post up who they have, and what they are doing with this plot. Final notes can be made, changes adapted, and such.

Even More Notes:

My hope, is that this plot helps bring Paradisa together a bit more OOCly and ICly. A lot of us are fans of other fandoms, other casts but don't have characters that could be from that world - or we think they'd be excellent in that world. There are though a lot of "groupings" that tend to happen and maybe placing someone out of their fandom "group" and into a fandom that the writer loves will build up new CR and new OOC relationships.
